I am 20 years old and have 3 years experience and want to insure a Civic 2.0l type R.
Does any one know where I can get the cheapest deal.

Don't think there's a quick answer for this one - it depends on what each insurer is targeting at present. Your best bet is to trawl the net and then maybe call up a couple of performance specialists too...

Happy hunting!

Try elephant.co.uk, I have had similar insurance grouped cars insured with them when I was a bit younger and the price has always been reasonable.

Here is a tip, you didn't hear it from me.

Go on Elephant and get your quote.
Now edit the quote and add a female with over 15 years driving experience (like your Mum or Nan) as an additional driver.
You should find your quote reduced by 25-50 percent.

Just the way the algorithms work on Elephants website.

I insured a Prelude 2.2 vtec (similar power + insurance group!) at the age of 18, so it is possible!

I am with Sky Insurance (not the satellite tv provider!)
