I've stalled the S2K once or twice hehe, and evrytime I've noticed it wont restart easily.

The starter spins, but it wont catch. Almost as if its immobilsed or something.

If I pump the pedal a few times then try again it'll catch. Is this normal?

The only time I ever had any trouble restarting after a stall was after I exited a sweeping right-hander backwards at approaching 80mph on a track day biglaugh

I forgot to dip the clutch as I was ploughing up the field backwards with the result that it took a while for the engine to right itself and restart. It was a worrying minute or two until it finally caught!

Mine does that some times especially crawling along in traffic for a while, this has only happened after changing the stock airbox for a K&N induction kit. I got a feeling its to do with warm air being sucked into the engine, the car goes a bit sluggish and acts a bit like a kangaroo. A heavy right foot always clears the problem though, but you do get a lot of people looking at you thinking why are you revving the car to 9k stationary. It does make you feel like an idiot sometimes.

I've had the difficult start problem after spins on the track and also if i stall the engine in both my S2ks. Just seems to be a feature. Starter will churn away for a good 5 seconds or so before it restarts.
