I HAD IT ON THE COMPUTER AT THE GARAGE A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO AND THE OXYGEN SENSOR IS BROKE WILL THIS BE CAUSING THE EMMISIONS FAULT. ALSO SOME LAD AT THE GARAGE WAS SAYING SOMETHING ABOUT THE MANIFOLD AND TO CHECK ITS THE STANDARD ONE ON THE CAR CAUSE SOME ARE NOT ALOUD ON ANYMORE DOES ANYONE NOW WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT. HE SAID GET A PICTURE OF A STANDARD INTEGRA'S MANIFOLD AND MAKE SURE ITS THE SAME DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE TO ANYONE.THANKS dontknow.gif

From memory you said that the engine management light had been removed (well the bulb anyway) you need to get it replaced. If it is lit get the car hooked up to a computer either with a reputable indie or with a main honda stealer.

I think that the guy in the garage may be implying that you car has had the cat removed from the system, this may cause the car to show the engine management light and for it fail the emissions.

Where abouts are you?

Why take a pic of an integra manifold when your car is an Accord?

having an aftermarket manifold won't affect your car though. A cat will set you back a few quid though, i'd probably go onto the accord type r owners club and post to see if someone has one.

I'd also check your o2 sensor is working like. mine is broke and my emissions are all over the place - it failed its mot frown

maybe he meant the inlet manifold? - a leaking one will also cause idle problems;
but in any case i'd get the O2 (oxygen) sensor sorted out first.
