All,

Had my '03 plate CTR for 9 months now and I'm starting to think it's a bit of a keeper.

With that in mind, has anyone here got or had a modded CTR? I was thinking primarily about brakes, maybe air intake and exhaust - any thoughts or suggestions?

Cheers,

Don't know if you use The Civic Type R Owners forum?

www.civictype-r.co.uk/phpbb2/index.php (you need to register, free, to view)

There's loads of info about exhausts, induction kits etc etc. In fact if you have a standard CTR you're in the minority.

I would reccomend an aem v2 induction kit on the car, maybe not as good as the mugen kit but oh the noise in vtec! Mental!

AEM v2?? it might end up making it go slower. The AEM cai would do a better job.

Apologies for the bump!

Catz: Tried the CTR forum but I've made a booboo somewhere when registering and can't remember my login or password (have emailed and asked for help).

I'm def. going to upgrade the pads when they wear out, but what's the concensus on induction kits: HKS, K&N, Mugen or something else? Also, where do I get them from? Would also consider an aftermarket exhaust as long as it didn't adversely affect performance and - of course - sounded fantastic!

Cheers,
