Honda S2000 Stereo Replacement
Discussion
I have a Sony CD/MP3 head unit from a previous car and would like to replace the OEM stereo in my S2K with this one. The Sony does have the 'blue phono jack' on the back which I believe means the dashboard controls would work with it.
Does anyone have any advice on what cables/adapters I need to buy, and how best to remove the current stereo without damaging the surroundings etc
thanks in advance

Offhand, I don't know what you need to retain the dash controls with a Sony HU - although you do need an adaptor of some kind.
I do know that there is at least one person over on s2ki.co.uk who has a Sony HU so there will be information over there on what you need to do to retain use of the dash controls.

hey, go to halfords and order the adapter for £30, and then a sony plug for £4.99! i've just dont this on mine.
to get te head unit out you have to prise the surround around the radio off, easily done, just get a thin screw driver, cover it in tape so not to damage it, then gentally prise it off!
