Going to need some new fronts on my JDM Teg, size 205/45/16 W.

Currently got Goodyear Eagle F1's on but I've read in a few places they have rather soft sidewalls. Would rather not spend more than £80 each if possible!

Thanks.

Looked on the three "main" websites (etyres, blackcircles, mytyres) and the only one i can find of those is the Parada, V-rated, but i suspect thats fast enough (up to 149 mph - top speed of car is 146 mph), and thats £70 each. Not a bad price really...

So unless anyone else has any suggestions, I think these are in the lead so far.

Try Micheldever Tyres - I've got Bridgestone So2's and 3's there for my type r in the past. They have a ridge on them that stops the alloys getting kerbed - very handy.

I'm not going to rant about which tyres I think you should use, but I will say this, ITR need tyres with stiff sidewalls, so please do yourself a favour and bear that in mind when buying

Also have soft sidewalls.

S02's bit better, not a lot.

Could try Eagle F1 GS-D3 XL's - think they've stiffer sidewalls (need to check).

See if you can get any RE0_0 series Bridgestones in your size - all have stiffer sidewalls and very good dry-weather characteristics, and the 050's have good wet-weather as well.

Alternatively you're looking at Michelin Pilot's, which can be pricey...

yes Outstanding tyre. Nice and stiff sidewalls, superb grip in the dry and pretty good in the wet too. Good wear rate in my experience. They're certainly not the most expensive tyre, either.
