Honda dealership

Not sure if I can say who, but we had a very bad experience with a Honda dealership in Chesterfield.

Anyone else had problems with them?

Essentially we agreed a trade in and they welshed on the deal at the last second and tried to do us for many hundreds of pounds. [they had already inspected the car] Following a complaint from ourselves the dealership then rang me at home and gave me a mouthfull,,, what is worse is that the block was lying through his teeth... Actually I think he had offered us a discount which got him into trouble and he was back tracking... Anyhow I just wondered if anyone else had had any problems.

We certainly won't be using this bunch of rip off merchants again. Out of interest we were going to purchase a new CRV (not the most interesting car as this one was for during the week).. Check my profile for a better choice of driving experience...

FYI - I bought my Honda S2K at the Statstone Honda Dealership in Leeds in March of this year. I was pleasantly surprised with the whole end-2-end experience which included the Salesman Wesley picking me up from the train station, being made to feel very comfortable and not pressurised into spending any more money than I had to on the day, a few little extras thrown in for good measure & so far, 3 follow up calls from Wesley to ensure everything was going well with the car (& to check I was still in one piece :+) Admittedly I left the Dealership a lot less well off, but the 05'model S2K I now have brings a huge smile to my face whenever I drive it.

If you ever visit Stratstone Honda in Leeds, ensure you ask for Wesley. If Carlsberg made genuine salemen....
