Is there anyone in this country that fits S/C kits to S2ks as all i could find on S2KI were threads about fitting them

Beware of this option as more than one S2000 has gone bang as a result. I looked but there were enough horror stories.

Well depending on a job i get, i will get 30% of a wide range of cars/bikes and servicing and parts so i'm tempted to buy an 07 S2k run it for a year and then either decide to sell it or supercharge it, If it goes bang i can get a brand new engine from Honda for £5k which would still keep the cost under that of the RRP of a new car

Sounds like a good deal. Read the S2K forum as they have lots of details on which options work and which dont.

Sounds good, on another note does anyone know of any roots type blowers for the S2k rather than a centrifugal one?

What would be very interesting is a Rotrex system. Anyone want to be a guinea pig?

I've supercharged mine.

Centrifugal Comptech type (before they went bust).

It's awesome. I fitted it in a long weekend, was fairly easy.

Main issue is tuning, I went with AEM and waited for a US tuner to pop over for a week.

There are issues with SC'ing a 06+ car due to the ECU, drive-by-wire throttle i believe ..

You can't get better than those US tuners for knowing the S2K

Well my first bad luck was a tuning problem which seized the engine. I took it to TDI and they rebuilt it with a TODA low compression 2.2 stroker kit. After it was run in and tuned the vortech supercharger (bought second hand on s2ki.com) disintegrated after about 500miles. The engine wasn't damaged but the new blower cost over a grand. It went for another 1000miles untill I took it to brands hatch for a track day. It was great but near the end the engine went "clunk" on the straight and started pissing oil everywhere.

I don't know what happenned yet I have been abroad but I left it with the first garage to put a second hand engine back in . Maybe running a 2.2litre stroker kit with a 9k redline was a bad idea.

I guess I have a bit of a horror story, I would say be careful with the tuning. Also be careful buying a second hand supercharger kit. The vortech blower sounds like grinding rocks when its new but the old one that exploded this noise was was much louder.
