S2000 - how much tax?

What does the new budget mean to the S2000? I found that its emissions are 237g/km...which is in the highest band. But it also mentions cars made after march 2006 or something...so if i'm looking to buy an older model (01-02) then how much will I be paying?

Ok it actually says March 2001, so if I buy a car pre-2001 then what is it?

Btw I know its a boring and sad question, but trying to buy on a budget so please bear with me.

just looked at this one myself, and if registered before march 2001 then £185 as it falls into the higher of the 2 pre CO2 catagories (as does pretty much everything), if after march then into band f I think, so around £205. Wasn't looking at a new one so didn't consider the after 2006 extra band g option.
