s2000 new ownership

Hi all,

I've just sold my Lotus elise and bought a S2000 '03. I'm absolutely loving the car and the electric roof and heating!! I've noticed that on some cars they have the split front lip spoilers and the back boot lid spoiler. Does anyone know where I can get these? I rang up a Honda dealer and was quite pricey, just wondered if anyone knows a good supplier and who is quite reasonable. I've tried the S2ki site but couldn't get much out of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd get on some of the owners forums, theres bound to be some second hand/private sales on there. try www.sk2i.com for a start. Theres also www.hondarevolutions.com. Best of luck.

Through searching, you mean? The search engine is a bit hit and miss, to say the least.....

I assume you're talking about the Honda OEM front and boot spoilers. If so, the only place you can get them is via a Honda dealer. There have been group buys on s2ki in the past, with some dealers offering bulk discounts.

Another alternative is to source them via hardtopguy, an s2ki site sponsor who runs a Honda parts selling business in the US - even with shipping, he's often much cheaper than buying them over here.

There are also various aftermarket chin and boot spoilers, most of which are horribly OTT and max power.

Looking for lip spoilers meself for my 03 s2k....

If you find any let me know as i cant seem to track any down either...

Im looking for plastic ones and NOT fibreglass..

That's going to be a problem since most 3rd party ones are fibreglass or carbon fibre.
The likes of Mugen/Spoon/etc are all extremely well made.



*edit - should've also mentioned lip spoilers are few and far between. Most are full bumper replacement by the various tuning companies.

Not really a fan of fibreglass...But if it comes down to it ill probably just have to go with fibreglass...

good prices and stop both the boot spoiler and hi wing spoiler along with the oem front lip and side strakes if you want them.
