Sourcing a CRX Engine Replacement?

It's a long shot but I have to give it a go... (Excuse the crossposting)

A friend-of-a-friend's 1992 Honda CRX has decided to throw a rod through the side of the block (which was nice of it) and so he is trying to source a replacement engine, or at the very least a block so he can do a rebuild. Unsurprisingly, replacement engines aren't exactly cheap, so can anyone point me in the direction of a scrapper or dismantler who may have one? Somewhere around West Yorks would be nice, but obviously it isn't going to be a common beastie so anywhere 'north' would probably be ok.

I *think* it is the VTEC lump rather than the non-VTEC, but I imagine they may use the same block (as you can tell, Hondas aren't really my field).

You might have to register but there are some of the most informed guys on CRX's there and theres always engines for sale in the bits section.
I believe the two engines are different, (16-16 and 1.6 VT) though one of the tricks is to put a 2ltr bottom end onto the VTEC head.
Also before asking any questions on there use the search function as it does work!! and some of the guys get a bit grumbly replying to newbies asking the same questions each week!
