how do you chaNge the head unit in a CTR

PLEASE COULD YOU HELP ME.Do i have to take the dash out inmy CTR to change the head unit?

Somebody who really knows will be along soon (I was lazy and had my replacement for that dreadful thing fitted) but in essence it comes out with the bit below it (where the space is underneath). If fitting a std size HU you will have to get a plastic 'thingy' to replace the remaining hole and allow a normal unit to fit & look vaguely like it was meant to.
