CTR engine issue

Hope someone can help.
Got a civic type r motor in my saxo with an aftermarket ECU.
The problem i have is after about 30-45 minutes on a run down the motorway the engine goes into 'SAFE' mode and wont go over 55mph, starts screaming like a banshee as the revs are limited
Anyways i was advised by the ECU supplier to change the knock sensor wich has been done but i have still have the same problem, incidently the ECU suppliers have run a diagnostic check on it and found no faults with the ECU.
Any other sensors i should check??

Not sure but you could ask at club-civic.com (Very chavvy but some good teccies there) or, better, honda revolutions (google them) or better still honda-tech.com.
