Hope it'll be as reliable etc as Honda's reputation leads me to believe.

Great value as well.

1999 V reg Accord 1.8 Vtec S 50,000 Full service history and only £3400

..... I was supposed to get it last week but the clowns at the dealership lost the keys..

Low mileage for a '99 Accord! Sounds promising.

Should be well-built but expect the usual things to be wearing after 7 years...they're better built than most of the competition, and well-engineered, but things wear out even on Hondas.

yes hoping it should be a good buy. I still have not collected it as although it now has new keys the immobiliser is still immobilising the car.. so Hondas putting a new immobiliser in it, so I'm told I can collect it tomorrow evening.. hopefully. In all fairness they have now TAXed it and given us 7 days free insurance and given it a full service.

Well finally actually got it this morning and I'm very pleased the interior could fool you into thinking its a brand new car on the forecourt, body is 99% perfect just one scratch on the front bumper. No rattles or untoward noises of any sort, when at idle you can't even hear the engine, when flooring the throttle it pulls smoothly to the red line, only notice a slight extra pickup of pace when the VTEC comes on cam. Gear box is as perfect and close as every other Japanese car I've had. Compairing it to same age Foci etc I test drove its leaps and bounds ahead in every conceivable way.

A happy new Honda owner
