Hiya, just reposted this

I’m just about to sell my Cayman GT4 (which I love), but obviously can’t get a bike in it, so it doesn’t get used at all, as most long journeys for me are bike/ski related

Can you get a road bike in the back of a new Type-R? There isn’t one at the dealer in Jersey for me to experiment with!

I could get a bike in the back on my old M2 Comp with the wheel off, so I think it should work

If it helps…I’m a 54/medium type sizing in road bikes

Thanks in advance!

Yes, my 54cm road bike goes in no problem, it’s a front wheel off job to carry my full suspension MTB.

The Civic is not exactly a conventional hatchback anymore but the extra space makes it a great family car. I’m 5,11 and can comfortably get a rear facing child seat behind me.

GT4 would have been my choice if it wasn’t for kids and bikes.

A bit late to the party, but the boot size is the same as the regular Civic hatch (And about the same as the FK8 too) - Could always have a go with a standard 10th / 11th gen to check!

Enjoy! I've had mine for 3 months / 3,000 miles now and absolutely love it. I 'ran it in' for 1,000 miles or so, but as the miles have built since then it feels like it's really loosened up. The steering, brake pedal feel and handling are just superb!

The spare wheel kit from the FK8 fits the shape of the FL5 boot but the floor 'stilts' need lifting by an inch or so. So the difference is about an inch less height.
