I am picking up a Honda S2000 next weekend and the current owner has done all the servicing himself (last 4 years). I don't have an issue with this, but I would like to track down the previously performed Honda servicing info, just to build up records. Is this something Honda will share? I have looked online and can't see any other option than Honda direct.

Just did this.
Mailed Honda UK through their help page. They will send you details of any service done at Honda dealers. It wont detail what was done - just ‘service’ or ‘mot’, when it was and what mileage. Had to provide VIN and reg.

I got more details by phoning the service dept where it was done and they verbally told me what was done on each service - would not send it though.

Usually owners find a puddle in there but I’m hoping you found the service book?

Yes, it was all the original documents that come with the car; service book, owners manual, alarm certificate, travel atlas, etc.

I thought the owner might have looked in the boot in the last 6 years hehe

That’s slightly scary that the previous owner didn’t go in there! I wonder what’s in the “hidden” compartment between the headrests or in the spare wheel compartment!

When I bought my first S2000, the guy I bought it off had no idea about the compartment between the head rests. Blew his mind. I found the remote control for the aftermarket head unit in there. He never knew it had a remote hehe

Honda are very helpful, but can only advise where the car has been serviced by Honda owned garages.

They don't have the records for franchise dealers.
