At six years old my CR-V's stop/start battery gave up the ghost. There doesn't appear to be any "how to" on the internet for this particular car bit there are a lot of "hits" saying things like "you must get a dealer to fit a replacement battery", "the stop start programme needs to be reset by a dealer", etc, etc. From what I can gather though, though this might be the case for VWs, it doesn't affect Honda. Here's how I change mine:

1 - ordered a replacement battery from Tayna (excellent price and service with a triple wrapped battery delivered in less than 24 hours and almost half the price of Euro Car Parts after their perennial discount is applied):
https://www.tayna.co.uk/car-batteries/varta/n70/

2- ordered a "memory saver" from eBay (I modified this slightly by changing the crocodile clips for a model aeroplane EC3 connector and then I used a 3s/1,300 Lipo to power it - this went from 99% charge to 88% during the 15 minute job and is a perfect mod):

3- swapped out the battery whilst the 'memory saver" was connected.

4- The "stop/start inactive/battery fault warning" remained displayed on the dash but everything else was working OK. I took the car for a drive to get the engine warm (the "warning light" stayed on all the time) and then stopped and turned the ignition off. I then turned the ignition on and the "warning light" was gone and the job complete.

£120 all in - pleased with that and I now have a "memory saver device" to add to my tools collection smile
