I'm look into getting back into a Dc2, back when I had one 15 odd years ago, parts/servicing was never an issue, but now i'm worrying I'd have massive issues with looking after it...
Are getting hold of parts going to be difficult? Will the car cost me a lot to look after?
What kind of insurance would be best (normal or classic)

Had my DC2 7 years now. Only part that has failed was an ABS sensor sourced from America as Honda was extortionate. Honda support for DC2 is fading but the number that have been broken in recent years means parts are quite plentiful from traders that frequent the forums/facebook/ebay.
My insurance (im 45) was sub £200 on a classic policy. 3000 miles a year. 13k agreed value. Good luck with the search. (Took me 3 years!)

I think the issue, as suggested above, will be finding a good one for sensible money.
...and even then there might be a fair amount of hidden rust - the plastic sill-trims hide a lot of sins, which aren't visible unless you strip it down.
(Closest you can get is remove a rear speaker and stick a small camera in the aperture to take a photo straight down of the top of the panel)
Best bet, sad to say, is probably a JDM car, as fresh an import as possible (knowing the attendant risks), or a UK car that's had a very full body restoration.
(I'm desperately after another myself (my 3rd, should never have sold #2), but am slowly being put off by the amount of dross out there, the stuff that is going to breakers as thoroughly rotten, and the £££ being asked for apparently genuinely good ones)

Hi, please who do you insure with and do you have any declared modifications? I'm looking to put mine on a classic policy also when it comes up for renewal. My insurance (im 45) was sub £200 on a classic policy. 3000 miles a year. 13k agreed value. Good luck with the search. (Took me 3 years!)
Blacks certainly the best colour even 12 years ago I searched hi and low for a good one.
I pay around £260 a year full comp insurance with a agreed value of 8K ( I think I need to up this given the recent vaules).
Ive had the car for over 12 years.
Best car I've owned by a country mile, currently getting belts, service and a general refresh done.
Mines still on original paint (very rare) but needs refreshing in a few areas its a 20+ year old car.
I may consider a parting with it for a Honda S2000 or a FD2 in the future.

Had both (still got the FD2), and only the FD2 compares.S2000 is great...in its own way. But it's an 8/10ths car, not a 10/10ths car (not without new dampers, properly revised geometry and front- and rear-bracing at a minimum).
FD2 is a more hardcore, grown up DC2. I've commented in other threads on here (or on the Integra facebook group) about the differences between them, if you're interested. it loses a little of the DC2's magic, but gains in other ways. Toss a coin...

Worth joining the FD2 group on Facebook...there's a bunch of knowledgable people on there (many have either owned or seen advertised cars in the past)...can help you avoid getting a lemon.havoc said:

I reconise your username from the old Honda forums, itr-dc2 and dare I say Honda Revolutions.
Integra's going in for new cambelt and water-pump along with all fluids being changed and might tidy up the bodywork a little, original paint is literally wearing thin.
I also understand no matter how good the FD2 is I will miss the character of the DC2. Having mildly enchanced what makes the car good better it wont be a easy void to fill.

PM me if you like...might be worth a catch-up offline.I also understand no matter how good the FD2 is I will miss the character of the DC2. Having mildly enchanced what makes the car good better it wont be a easy void to fill.
Last line - yep, those have been my thoughts ever since selling 'teg #2 (which in hindsight I should never have done ), and I've been idly toying with getting a third while realising that (a) I've partly missed the boat as prices have skyrocketed these last few years; and (b) getting another is a gamble anyway, as a lot seem to be succumbing to hidden rot.
PS - oh lord, Honda Revolutions...now there's a memory...
