Hi guys, looking at petrol manual FRV’s. Ideally facelifted EX spec.

I’ve two young children in rear facing car seats which will go behind driver and passenger, am I correct to assume that there will be space in front for the driver to be comfortable (I’m 5 foot 9, my wife 5 foot 4.).

Also how do the mechanicals wear the miles? All the ones for sale on AT seem to be 100k miles plus, which doesn’t put me off. Just wondered if there’s a big service/common failiure around that sort of mileage?

Also anyone with ownership experience, please feel free to share your views.
Cheers

I’m interested too. Looking to use as a van, as much as anything. I don’t want to hijack this thread, but if someone owns an FRV, I’d be grateful for some interior height measurements:

Two measurements, floor to roof. I’ve noticed the boot floor is raised, compared to the rest of the floor. I think the spare is housed underneath. I’d be interested to here of the possibilities for removing the spare, to achieve more overall height in that boot area. I do see how the roofline curves lower at the rear. I’m looking for about 104cm at the rear and 120cm at the front.

The mechanicals are basically Civic, engine and box etc.
The front centre seat can fold to make a giant armrest or can be left upright.
Both centre seats can slide forwards and backwards for more flexibility.
The seats are inevitably narrow so if you are a large build you may struggle.
