Honda civic 9th gen cd unit issues

I have MK9 civic 2013 that has an issue with the cd player and controls along with the steering ones too, it won't let me change the source of skip to the next track on the cd, it only allowed me to play with the volume, is this a common problem? Thanks

To add this doesn't happen every time but definitely is more frequent now
