Hi, I've been on the lookout for a drivers side seat for my Accord type r for a while, but every set I find, the drivers seat is the same, or worse than mine, with a good passenger seat.
Is it possible to swap the drivers and passengers seats round, If so, I can pick up a pair of seats, use the passenger seat - Effectively having 2 passenger seats in my car, and scrap the rest?

In a word, yes. As I'm sure you know, the drvers seat has the inflatable lumbar support and the passenger seat doesn't, so by fitting another passenger seat, you'll lose that. The seat is mounted to the subframe and it's the subframe that the seatbelt is fixed too. So simply bolt the new seat onto the drivers seat frame.

4 torx screws and it's off, but two of the screws are fouled by the frame, so you might need to unbolt them from the side first. You'll see what I mean once they're out of the car.

Be very careful though as you might snap a screw (I speak from personal experience!) and so just be as gentle as possible unscrewing them for the first time and when screwing them back up.

While I expect you've checked, you used to be able to buy replacement foam for Integra DC2 Recaros. Are these not available for your seats, or is the problem bigger than just swapping out some padding?

the padding is good, its wear on the fabric at the bottom of the back section. seems to be just about waist height, not sure if its something like a belt rubbing it. seems to be common on these seats in evos and accords

Mine is the same - I've got a spare rear bench so I'm thinking of taking that to an automotive trimmer and getting them to repair my drivers seat using fabric taken from the spare rear bench. Kinda like a skin graft hehe

No idea where you are based but a mate of mine in Gloucestershire has just had his Evo Recaro seats (very similar to your ATR seats) repaired. He bought new foam bolsters (Capital seating ~£50 iirc) and then a local upholstery guru fitted it all together & did some repairs to the upper bolster material for £75 a seat which I thought was a bargain as they look/feel significantly better, practically new.
