Honda Jazz 2009 onwards - Cat harder to access/steal?

Query about the built-in protection for catalytic converters on Honda Jazz 2009 onwards:

Is it true that the cat on Jazz model 2009 onwards is moved to inside the engine compartment, and therefore harder to steal?

I've had my Cat stolen from a 2008 Jazz before and remember reading that 2008 and older models were more vulnerable due to the easy accessibility of the Cat on these, but that the new model from 2009 onwards made this change so these newer models are immune to cat theft.
