New Type R Hybrid?
Discussion
I've read a few articles now which state the next Honda Type R will be a Hybrid, also confirmed by Honda. Example:

Honda was quite keen on keeping the type R a manual for this generation aswell. Now I'm thnking with Honda's IMA technology, they have made cars in the past such as the 1st gen insight, CRZ and a Hybrid Jazz/Fit which feature manual transmissions due to the electric motor placement.
So my guess is, If Honda can use this technology to tick off the hybrid box and still manage to keep it a manual, this would be a huge + for petrol heads who love manual cars like myself.
A little far fetched but lets not forget the instant torque the car would deliver, they may not even have to go turbo, they could keep it a high revving car with battery assist to keep emissions down.
What are your thoughts on this guys?
