Hi all,

Does anyone know the key differences between the two? Can't turn up much on the web. Noticed prices of the 2017 and 2018 cars have come down a bit (i.e. into my price range!) but don't want to buy if 2019 is drastically better.

Cheers smile

Hi,

There have been no changes to the Type R since it's release in 2017.

There is a facelift due any day now for the standard model Civic, which as far as I know is just slight changes to the front and rear bumpers and a volume knob for the radio instead of touch capacitive controls. I don't think these extend to the Type R.

Thank you for your reply. I was sure i'd heard there were changes but this explains why I can't find anything on the web.

Cheers.

No problem, consider me slightly biased but it's an incredible car worthy of the praise it gets from the press.

Hope you find a decent example and enjoy it!
