Dim EP3. Headlights
Discussion
Hi all
My son has bought an EP3 civic as his first car.
1.4 84k miles.
Now the darker nights are coming he's realised the lights are are all dim, and for reason he has one standard headlight and one Type R headlight (he didn't realise till I pointed this out.
I've bought a second Type R light so they match, just waiting for it to arrive.
Is there a difference between the connections between standard and Type R connections (2004) standard bulbs?
I'm in Nottingham, he's in Middlesbrough at Teesside Uni, I think I'm going to have to refer him to a garage as I can't easily get there, but if anyone has any wisdom I'd appreciate it.

All sorts of alarm bells are ringing
Bumper, Grill, Badge (Red...!) and lights all wrong for a Type R
Pretty sure the connectors are common for all lamp styles
The OP's car is a non type r, it's a EP2! Bumper, Grill, Badge (Red...!) and lights all wrong for a Type R
Pretty sure the connectors are common for all lamp styles
Headlight connectors on facelift cars are the same you can't mix pre and post facelift connectors.
The best suggestion is good bulbs, Osram an Phillips are worth the money and polish the plastic lenses so they are clear again.
Failing that get your son to spec savers.
