Accord air conditioning repair
Discussion
The air con on my Accord doesn't work despite having it regassed.
Looks like it is the compressor, as it doesn't kick into life, even if I supply it with 12v straight from the battery.
I'm wondering if it's possible to replace just the pulley/clutch part with removing the compressor?
Or if I have to remove the compressor, am i better to replace it with a brand new cheap pattern part or a used original Denso?

In the interests of finishing a thread off...
I bought a second-hand OE compressor for £40 and a local garage de-gassed, swapped the old one for the replacement and re-gassed for £150.
Replacing the compressor required him to remove the radiator to get enough room to drop it out underneath.
All working very nicely. Cold as you like. The only issue is that the pump makes a bit of a noise at start-up. I guess the internals aren't in pristine condition but at leas i works and if it stops working i'll just get another one.
