Mystery Engine. Can you help identify?

I've come across an engine with a strange history, unknown to most I've spoken to.

The engine is a D16V3.

It's fitted to an engine test rig, as such I don't have a clue about what car it came from. I doubt it was a UK model. I have found minimal online about it, other than a spec sheet about the head and a brief reference on a Russian civic forum. I will try and upload some pictures.

If anyone has heard of this engine, or may know someone who might, it would be greatly appreciated.

Found this on eBay:

"Brand new Top Quality Alternator/Fan Drive Belt to fit the following Honda Petrol models;

I don't think it's an engine sold in a UKDM variant but somewhere else in Europe.

EUDM engine 2001 or newer civic, 110bhp.
