Civic Sport EP2

Sorry if im in the wrong place, im new to this.

Looking at getting a Civic 1.6 sport ep2 this june, and drive that for till i get 2 year no claims and hope i can insure a Ep3.

Are they decent cars? anything i need to look out for when buying once?

I love mine, its got good power for the engine size, handles reasonably well and can do 40 to 50 mpg. Super-reliable, mine had 70k on it when I bought it and now has 120k, no issues apart from consumables like tyres and one set of shocks.

Its got great carrying capacity, and is very functional and fun. One thing I don't like is the turning circle is a bit too big for the size of the car, but you get used to it.

The one thing you need to know about these cars is they they use the front shocks from the EP3, the other shocks have smaller knuckle bolt sizes and will not fit. I found this out after sending two sets of 'normal' EP2 shocks back. For some reason this fact is hidden in the depths of the internet and is not explicitly mentioned anywhere
