The 9th gen. Honda Civic (FB) 1.6L diesel came in 118bhp format. Some later Tourings came with 158bhp . However, the new 10th gen. seems to make do with 118bhp again.

Was the 118bhp - single turbo and the 158bhp twin turbo?
Were there reliability problems with the high power version?

No Civic Tourer's had the 160 engine, the 160 engine was in the CR-V 4WD.

Every 1.6 diesel Civic Tourer is 120bhp which still holds a guiness world record for fuel economy I believe (100mpg average over 8500 miles through Europe).

Not many problems with the engine from experience, I think a very small handful had some sensor issues (fuel sensors or something) but wasn't anything serious.

I've sold Honda's for a while now, used to get 80+mpg from my Tourer on my very short commute, brilliant cars.

OK, thanks.
I thought I saw an advert with the higher powered diesel, but may have been mistaken. It seems that just as Honda design a brilliant diesel engine (no diesel market in Japan and USA), it falls out of favour.
