Civic 2006 Loss of Power

Hi All,
My 2006 Civic with 110k on the clock developed an intermittent fault about 6 weeks ago which is now becoming far less intermittent. After starting it is fine for about a minute and then it starts chugging and I cant rev it above about 2000 rpm. If I turn the ignition off and on even for just a split second it fixes the problem for a while. On the motorway it is fine, as long as I keep the revs up it behaves itself. No engine warning lights and also when it's chugging if I floor the throttle for a few seconds it clears the fault and the car launches forwards. Any ideas greatly appreciated.
