Anything I should be aware of as a new owner of an accord?
Discussion
Hi all,
I picked up a 2003 2.0 v-tec automatic SE accord,
74,500 miles on it, MOT'd today, full service history with a stamp every year on the dot for only £2,500, no issues with body work and everything seems to be in tip top shape.
I've never had the best of luck with my last 3 cars needing non stop repairs, so I'm thinking for the accord, is there anything I should be aware of that needs done on a regular basis to ensure it's reliability? Or any known faults that I should know about?
Thanks,

Thanks,
Generally very reliable indeed tbh
Has probably led an easy life being an Auto.
Might be a bit heavier on front pads as a result but that’s no biggy.
Same as all Hondas rear arch & sill rot are to be watched out for. Also front bulkhead rot up above where the accelerator cable goes through.
At that mileage the RTA bushes are probably well worth doing too. Will tighten up the drive no end!
