Yes I used them just a few weeks ago, excellent service and well worth going to. Try calling again, once or twice while my car was in I tried calling and got no answer but tried again in an hour and Tom picked up straight away.

As above, they can be difficult to get hold of but don't take this as a reflection of their work.
I wouldn't take my Honda anywhere else for clutch / gearbox work and I live 130 miles away.

Where are you Mike?

My old DC5 was looked after by Phil at Dream Automotive in Bushey, Watford. I've got nothing but praise for him and his work.

Similar distance from both of them mate. Previous owner of my car went to Dream as well he rates them very highly. They are easy to get hold of as well! Just wanted a couple of quotes.

There's a Honda speciliast even closer to me. Previously called nismotors now known as M C Techs website is mobile garage Godalming. They would be more convenient for me. Problem with Dream is they are 70 mins away and it's a 4 to 6 hr job so a full day off work.

Is clutch work really that sensitive? Would you not trust any garage to replace it?

I had my S2000 valve clearances and a major service done at Hond-R in Abingdon (who are first class)
They changed the diff and gearbox fluids and remarked on how black they were. They should be golden, especially given the mileage.
They checked back in the history..in 201just after I bought it, I took it to TGM on recommendation to give it a ground up refresh, post-purchase.
It had on the receipt that they'd changed these fluids too.
It is the opinion of regular mechanics that they hadn't.….

You would hope you could! But, with fast Honda's the alignment and bleeding is important. And, if it's a car the mechanic knows well, it's always easier to disassemble if you've done the same car over and over.
