Looking at buying a Honda but require at least enough space for some Golf sticks. The FD2 & CL7 don't look particularly spacious but have rear doors at least and I'm doubtful the DC5 is up to the job but you never know. Any owners able to pitch in?

A DC2 has huge boot space, so guess a 5 not that different...

If I’m remembering correctly I couldn’t drop the rear seats in my FD2 when I had it.

I do remember the dc5 having a bigger boot but has a high lip so it depends what you need to load etc.

The DC5's boot is huge, and that's before you fold the rear seats down!

DC5 does have a good boot (easily hot-hatch class, so close to 400 litres I'd guess), and folding rear seats (50/50), although as above the lip IS very high, which isn't so practical.

FD2 doesn't have folding seats, but has a much better lip and a bigger boot - think 450 or 480 litres, so about the same or a bit more than a 3-series and a lot more than any hot hatch (except Octavia).

CL7 - dunno, but it's the Accord platform - should be able to google that one (Parkers say 459 litres for a standard Accord, with folding seats hindered by a small-ish aperture).

I can dig my clubs out and see if I can fit them in the boot of my FD2?

Probably won't be until the weekend now though smile
