Which would you own?

This is very much a hypothetical question.
You have money for either car and are looking to own it for as long as possible. These would both be weekend cars and possible track day from time to time.
If you could own a mint ek9 Type R or S2000 which would it be? Bare in mind that you might have to part with them say in 3-5 years.
Personally it's a really hard choice as I can see the attraction and why you would own one over the other.
For me I'm leaning towards the ek9 as the value should go up with them been rare and sought after.

Or the third option, a DC5. All three are going up in price and are equally iconic in their own right.
I went DC5 due to the practicality that is blended with the performance, although i seriously considered an s2k.
For that matter, a DC2 would also be a great shout...however with the dc2 and ek9 rust would be a concern for me. s2000s and dc5s fare considerably better in that regard.. most fresh imports are rust free.

The reason why I chose those to cars is that the ek9 is a classic import with no UK versions. Yes you could say the DC2 is (sort of) but there is a UK spec. I'm basically asking would you want to own an import over a s2000 UK spec?
If I could afford either in real life it would more than likely be a s2000 as I don't own a garage to dry store the Civic. As mentioned the rust would kill it.

i would buy a JDM import over a UK car every time.
Also, convertibles bring their own problems, i owned an mx5 for 5 years that was stored outside, unless you get a hardtop it isn't ideal...lots of leaks and damp issues, also a security risk, i know many owners of mx5s who have had the soft tops slashed to get into the cabin.

Having only been a passenger in an S2000, Driven an EK9 and owned a '99 JDM Integra DC2. I would always be inclined to say a 98 spec DC2. Without splitting hairs, The DC2/EK9 drive quite similarly and the look of the inside and outside are subjective anyway. But I would always have a B18C over the B16B. I feel you get more for your money with a 98 spec ITR vs. the EK9 and an equally, if not more so raw experience. I had an EK4 SiR which was LSD equipped before the DC2 which is about as close as you can get to an EK9.
As for the S2000, I don't think you get the rawness of a Type R from the 90's and has been described as a great GT/sports car. But a 9K spinning FR and a soft top would be very appealing for a weekend car, too.
