Honda Civic 2008 rear rubbing
Discussion
Hello all,
After leaving my Honda stationary outside for 2 weeks, it’s developed a rubbing noise at the rear.
It happens when driving/braking (so far driven 40/50 miles and still prominant) and the rubbing noise (it’s not disimilar to the noise a low pressure tyre makes) is more noticable at lower speeds. It appears to come from the back of the car, possibly the wheels - braking isn’t affected and car appears to be driving as normal in all other aspects.
Would normally just take it to a garage but as this has developed when the car’s been stationary I wondered if the symptoms are familiar?
Thanks in advance

The brakes might have picked up a bit of a burr on them from the handbrake being left on - mine had this issue, the pads might need a bit of rubbing down (and the discs too, just some light emry paper or something). It should be a simple driveway job if you have the tools and the confidence, if not it'll take a garage only a short time to sort it out (hour max probably)
