Accord 2.0 vtec power

Ok, bear with me on this.
I got my wife an Accord with the petrol 2.0 to replace a turbo diesel hack. Great car, all the toys but she complains it's a bit gutless and to press on she has to thrash it. Something she is strangely averse to having been used to the turbo grunt.
So, is there a way, without breaking the bank, to tweek it for a bit more shove, something not too expensive. I am thinking a couple of hundred for a remap or a throttle body from a type-r maybe.
Suggestions?

Simple answer: No.

It's just not worth the hassle, gains would be minimal and severely outweigh any benefit.

Sell it and buy her a diesel one.
