Honda CRV year 2000 faulty clutch?
Discussion
Hi guys,
Seems to me that the clutch isnt working so well when I first start driving in the morning but after a while it gets better.
I have to pump my clutch a number of times before I am able to get the car into gear.
What seems to be the actual problem here?
I really need some help
Thanks guys

If you are having to pump the pedal then that would normally indicate a problem in the hydraulic actuation, rather than in the actual clutch itself. First, is the clutch reservoir full of fluid to the line? Next, have you, or someone else, had to top up that reservoir recently? Next, can you see any evidence of leaks anywhere from the reservoir to the slave cylinder and all associated pipework?
Might be worth changing the fluid, but that might only be a temporary fix.
