Civic type r squealing brake
Discussion
Hi guys
I've got a problem with the car and it's starting to really annoy me!
It started when I changed my pads all round and every time I went out in it after the rear brake would squeal on the drivers side without actually applying them. To cut a long story short the rear calipers had just about had it and I've just had them replaced. Problem is the squealing is still there.
I'm not the most mechanically minded of people so I'm hoping one of you could help me aha it's getting embarrassing the noise it makes and preferably don't want to spend much more on it as I'll be looking to get a new car after Christmas!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers
Alex

Its worth checking that the shims between the pad and calliper are fitted.
When I bought my EP3 they were all missing, and the brakes squealed quite badly.
(Some numpty probably threw them out with the old pads)
Once fitted the brakes were nice and quiet.
They're not that expensive, maybe £30 for all four wheels.
