2005 Honda Civic Type R aftermarket radio?
Discussion
I was wondering if anyone had found this easy to do and what's best on the market? As this car will see me out, I may as well have something decent in it. The goals are:
- to have a very good sound quality when speaking on the phone so a Bluetooth enabled radio with a microphone?
- to not look massively out of place with the silver dash. I don't really care but it's my wife's car and I don't want her to think I have made it a boyracermobile.
- to preferably have the ability to plug in an iPod - may as well if we're spending the money
- to use up the available space if we can so a double DIN radio may be possible?
Thanks in advance for your time, it is appreciated.

I just bought a Pioneer SPH-DA120 for my car. I use a normal iPhone connection in my work car so decided to try out the CarPlay option.
It doesn't do much without an iPhone apart from Radio and USB storage playback (iPod or Memory Stick). Comes with a microphone that you can position somewhere in the car and an external GPS sensor for improved Apple maps (I still have to connect these so can't use the phone yet).
Two USB connector cables for iPhone and Android/iPhone and USB Storage.
I'm a big fan. Easy enough to fit and it's really nice having Apple maps, Spotify and Podcasts on your dash. I don't ever use any other apps when I drive anyway.
I just need to get a Double DIN Fascia.
