Evening All,
I'm wanting to build if you can call it that, an Civic EK9 Type R track car.
The one in question I have found has a rusty rear arch, mainly surface rust about the size of a £2 coin but the mount underneath is gone.
My mate can sort that no problem but just wondering is there anything else I should look out for that's common on Civic EK9s?
Its recently had a service, timing belt and water pump.

Rather than posting this in general gassing head over to the Honda section - you'll get a lot more help I'd imagine.

I've never owned an EK Civic but have a lot of friends who have experienced them. Rust mainly occurred on the arches in their experience.
Dependent on size: cutting the rust out, treating with a rust killer, a small repair panel and a skim of filler usually had the arch perfect again.
