Honda Civic Valuation

If the dents are parking dings but the car has been mechanically looked after, then probably £800 or so is fair. If the dents are bigger issues, then for a private sale I'd be offering in the £600s.
Family is always tricky...have a look on Autotrader, see what's being advertised there. Use private prices less 5% for the sale value, use trade less 15% to get to private sale (just rule-of-thumb here), and then adjust for condition/miles.

Thanks, we've agreed £800. Some of the dents are a bit bigger than parking knocks, and some of the bumpers are scratched. Mechanically it's fine (although I went to move it this morning and the battery is dead!). MOT is expired this month too. Plus point is that I know the history of the car.Family is always tricky...have a look on Autotrader, see what's being advertised there. I think at £800, overall everyone should be OK.
Thanks for the comments.
