Honda Concerto 1993 Power steering pump belt replacement?
Discussion
Hi all,
Joined this community looking for some advice on the above. Hoping you guys can help :-)
I have a k plate Honda Concerto that I currently cannot move. I am pretty sure that the belt that connects to the power steering pump has failed.
My dilemma is whether it's worth getting the car towed to a garage to have fixed. Ie. is it a big job and likely to cost a lot of money or is it something quite simple?
I know the cost of the belt itself is next to nothing but what about fitting? Is it something I can do myself? Had a look and access seems to be a nightmare but is there anything I'm missing?
I'm also considering getting a mobile mechanic to come and have a look to confirm the fault.
Any advice welcome.
Thanks.
