Looks virtually perfect, from what is being shown, apart from a cheap tyre.

Shame there are no under-bonnet photos - they will be the true test.

Good that the original wheels are on, and that they are on the right way round - so often people swap sides so that they look rubbish.

Can't tell from the photos, but there should be a large, folding luggage cover. If this isn't there the car will sound a bit "rumbly". They are difficult to get hold of.

I seem to remember that mine said 1.6i-16v on the rear somewhere, probably just below the driver's side rear light cluster. Not sure why this one doesn't.

I had one of these in the late 80's, early 90's - an E reg, followed by an H-reg VTEC.

Things to look for (model specific) are:

rust around all 4 wheel arches (see the last pic of the silver VT currently in the classifieds)
rust on front corners of sunroof
sunroof operation
if I remember correctly there was a problem with some component in the distributor assembly (on the driver's side of the engine, almost next to the +ve terminal of the battery) - mine was replaced (free) when I had it serviced by the Honda dealer network - not sure if it was a full-on recall, but something like that
rear hatch gas struts can be weak
brake discs can warp a bit with spirited use - not sure if this model has ALB - my E-reg didn't, whereas my H-reg did.

Ask to see the car up an the garage's hoist - you will get a good idea if there is any rust from underneath.

On a test drive, it may creak a bit over rough surfaces, but this isn't anything to worry about. The steering should be great - it isn't power-assisted, so depending on what you are used to it may feel odd, but will feel perfect after even the shortest of drives.

As it genuinely looks like it has only done 35k miles, I'm sure that it will be a great car if it has been serviced, rather than just tarted-up after a long period of storage. Many hoses, if still original, will be perished if they haven't been swapped out, even if they look ok, as will the radiator - it might be blocked with sludge.

This one looks fantastic - certainly much better than any that I can see for sale at the moment.

Enjoy !!
