S2000 advice, 5000 miles, £12k?
Discussion
Hi, my mum's friend is selling a Honda S2000 in black, 5000 miles for £12k, on an 08 plate. Now, this chap has really looked after it, its in mint condition, never been in the rain, always serviced yearly despite Honda telling him its a bit pointless and pretty much loved like a baby.
I know nothing about the S2000 except my insurance company would likely pull my pants down and rape me if I were to buy it, so I would appreciate any advice as regards to price.
Also, I am a tad worried as my mum's current most power car is a Mazda 1.6 which she hardly gets out of 3rd gear, is she doing to ruin it poodling about at 30mph all the time?

Hi,
I bought an S in a similar situation...maybe at the top of the price bracket...but only by a few hundred quid. 2yrs and 20k miles later Ive tax/mot/insured and a set of tyres but not a penny more. It's probably dropped 2ish k due to miles but its still in a different league to most sports cars. The S really deserves to hold its value. Your option did need those services but for a non raced 5k mint car I'd bite his hand off.
