Honda Accord 2.3i SR Gearbox issues

Hi all, how are you?
I have a 93/94 L Accord 2.3i SR and I'm having small issues with my gearbox and I'm looking to have it rebuilt; I believe the Synchromesh between 1 & 2 and 4 & 5 is worn. I've been to a few companies & they don't want to know because of its age. Would anyone have any ideas of where I could go?
My car is almost mint & has only just done 105k miles, which is nothing for my model Engine (h23a3). I'm also looking for any spare parts I can get my hands on, external, internal, anything.
All help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Paul,
Any company that is not interested in the gearbox because of it's age does not deserve your time and patience, let alone your gearbox.
Where are you based? We are in Ireland which naturally would probably mean we are too far from you, however if you were willing for the gearbox to be shipped here we would be more than willing to recondition your gearbox.
I will have a discussion with my Father. With over 30 years in the gearbox trade, I am sure I could gather some names of reputable garages that may be able to help. In the meantime, feel free to visit our website incase you have any queries.

Ireland is indeed quite a distance from me, but I could arrange a short holiday around it; it's been a while since my last visit. I feel you would look after my car and give it the respect it needs...

My apologies for the late reply. It has been a very busy evening.
After speaking to my Father, he has recommended Geartech repairs (website link below). He has stated that they are pretty much the only company he would fully trust to rebuild a gearbox for him.
As for us doing your gearbox, we would be more than happy to do it for you if that is your wish. Having a holiday here would be a perfect solution hehe. We are located 30 minutes from Rosslare harbour, so there would not be much driving for you once you arrive in Ireland. There is much to see and do hear in Wexford, with hotels and B&B's dotted all along the coast and town centre. Naturally, you will be without the car for a short while. However, I would be more than willing to give you a lift to your accomodation, and we could order the parts in advance to try and get your car back to you asap.
My apologies for getting ahead of myself. I would just like for you to have as much information as possible should you consider us an option.
