My recently purchased EP3 has been in the Dealers today, taking advantage of a keenly priced servicing deal and has thrown up a few things that I'll need to get sorted, ASAP ideally as the car is off to Croatia next month....

Clutch flagged as near gone - from reading around it is, very low bite and hard to change/crunches at higher rev's.

Where is a good place to get this sorted??? (Ideally OEM parts and as cheap as possible?) I can supply parts if easier?

Also a CV Boot has gone and the NS caliper is sticking slightly, can these be DIY'ed easily enough? - I'll probally put some new pads in at the same time as they are slightly worn. Again reccomendations?

Thanks in advance smile

My friend has just been told by Honda he also needed some bits replaced including a clutch. I found a seller on ebay selling Genuine Honda parts.
Here is a link for a genuine clutch kit for an EP3.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-CIVIC-TYPE-R-EP3-G...

This is £50 cheaper than anywhere else i could find it. Also if you need other bits then just send them the part numbers if they don't have them listed on there site. As for places near Kent you could try TDI South in Thurock or if you don't mind traveling a bit i would highly reccomend TGM Sport.

Brilliant, thanks for that, I have had a quote of £250 for the labour from a local indy and the part above makes it far more appealing, but would rather take it somewhere where they know what they are doing.

Only issue with travel is that I work longish hours in the city so it's hard to make it to leave/collect it from anywhere...Ideally if a grage was within 15 or so miles from london I'd put the bike in the boot, deliver it and cycle in from there smile

TDI South is near Lakeside and TGM is in fleet. I always TGM but like i say it is a little bit of a treck but they are Type R specialists and the majority of the people on the owners clubs use them. I always take my DC5 to them.

I would recommend Dixon Motor Sport in Erith.
