Happy Thursdays everybody!

Recently aquired a Civic 5 door 1.7 CDTI, and it's looking a little lame. I'm looking for a few suggestions on simple, subtle mods to make it feel a little less boring.

A few things I had in mind:

- Weitech 30mm Lowering Springs
- 17" Alloys with low profile tyres (heard bad things about this - maybe stick to 15's/16's?)
- Pipercross Induction Kit
- Exhaust Wrap - Spare after a bike build (Again, heard bad things about cracking manifolds - is it worth it for the minute power increase?)
- New Head Unit/Speaker combo
- Angel Eye Conversion

And a couple of questions:

- Anything you've done in the past to a sh#@ty diesel civic that's simple, yet orgasmic to the eyes or performance?
- Is it worth actually doing anything to this piece of s#@t?
- Can you use parts from similar civic models? i.e. 1.6 Petrol 5 doors?
- Where do babies come from?

love love,

It currently looks dull.

With the mods you suggest it would probably end up being a dull looking car with loads of tat stuck on.

A bit of mild tuning might be worth it for some extra poke or economy, but no idea of your options on this engine.

Not worth modifying in any way. Save the money towards your next car.
