What's (not) up with me window?

06 Civic, passenger's door window came down, gets 3/4 way up, slows, nothing obviously constraining it- rubber aligned, no muck, but seems to think something's trapped and jumps down again...
Orange Van Man helped me get it back up with a lot of shoving and feathering the switch, but was unwilling to whip the panel off and have a look. Yellow team next time then...
Anything common known? Don't want to pay Honda to undo two screws (although I don't fancy my chances of getting the arm rest off without damaging it), is it orth me messing? Is there a sensor playing up??

Last year our 2008 Honda CRV had a slow drivers side window (never actually stopped though) caused by a hardening of the rubber strip between window and door.
Honda replaced it themselves at the last service - We mentioned it and I think they commented that it was a known issue - zero charge.
