Saw this NSX at Silverstone Classic a couple of month back ... interesting mods ... would love to know more about these, maybe come and say hello on nsxcb.co.ukApologies for digging up an oldish topic but thought I'd use an existing one than start a brand new topic..
If I could ask, are there any handling differences between the facelift 2003 cars and the cars before? I gather the facelift cars had gotten slightly larger wheels/tyres and less steering lock so was wondering if they handled any better than the pre facelift cars.

Very early cars have no power steering and is appreciated as the best in steering feel.
Later cars has power steering and there minor changes in the rack in the 3.2l guise including the 02+ facelift models which helps when the car is moving quickly but the steering overall remains slow compare to more modern sports car meaning you will need to turn your steering wheel more to get the same turning angle.
The larger front wheel helps less compare to tyre side wall stiffness IMO.

OK cheers. Will continue to keep an eye out then, in theory I think I would like the later 3.2 pre facelift cars but was wondering if the facelift included other improvements that would be worth having.Later cars has power steering and there minor changes in the rack in the 3.2l guise including the 02+ facelift models which helps when the car is moving quickly but the steering overall remains slow compare to more modern sports car meaning you will need to turn your steering wheel more to get the same turning angle.

Having had an earlier UK car, the reason I sold it was because of the lack of PAS. It was too much effort and constant fiddling with the steering on tighter corners that became its Achilles heel. I'd go PAS.
