Hi

Looking to get rid of my 04 Skoda Fabia Auto and maybe get a Honda Civic Auto around 04 plate

Something like this

http://www.delcocars.co.uk/used-cars/honda-civic-1...

What are the autos like and how does it compare to the Fabia? Gearbox and car in general.

According to my 2005 Honda Civic brochure the auto version was only available as a SE or Executive (full leather interior). 1590cc 110hp engine and 4-speed auto.

Claimed combined mpg - 39.2 0-62 - 12.5s CO2 - 172g/km

I have the Type-S version of the 2005 Civic with a 2-litre engine, manual g/box and larger wheels and uprated suspension so I have no useful comments on what the car would be like to drive. I note that the ad states the car has a full-size spare wheel but my brochure says it was a space-saver.

The car has a reasonable sized boot (370 litre) and plenty of space in the rear seat with no 'transmission' tunnel.

I had the '03 1600cc Civic Auto. Fuss-free, but I never really liked the autobox very much (I've had lots of others including '90s Mercedes and a later Honda Accord).

It always seemed to change down later than I wanted; e.g. right at the apex on a corner.
